Without Warping Sticks, those tight threads will “dive” into the layers below, creating uneven loops and “loose” selvedges. These sticks provide a series of rigid “shelves,” ensuring every wrap around the beam stays at the same diameter.

They sit flush against the beam, meaning they won’t slide out or snag on the side rails as you wind. Made from Hand-Sanded European Wood, they are glass-smooth—crucial for protecting delicate warp threads like fine silk or single-ply merino that can be easily abraded by rough cardboard or paper edges.
